Status Januar 2024 – for the latest Status please refer to the German Version.
1.1 The General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “GTC”) shall apply to all legal transactions concluded between Juliette Groupe AG (“Juliette”) and the customer[1]. A “Customer” is any natural or legal person who obtains deliveries or other services from Juliette.
1.2 Any GTC of the customer or other contractual terms of the customer shall not be valid unless they are expressly accepted by Juliette in writing. An individual agreement concluded in writing between Juliette and the customer shall take precedence over these GTC.
All information on the website www.juliette-boulangerie.ch (“Online Shop”) about products and services of Juliette (product descriptions, images, dimensions, weights, etc.) are considered non-binding and do not represent any assurances of properties or guarantees (including product availability), unless it is explicitly stated otherwise. The indication of prices is subject to change and is not to be understood as a binding offer.
3.1 Orders
If the customer orders goods in Juliette’s online store, Juliette will confirm the receipt of the order within 24 hours by e-mail. This confirmation of receipt does not yet constitute a confirmation of the order. The latter takes place with a separate confirmation email or directly with the delivery of the goods. The customer has the possibility to change or cancel the order until the order confirmation is sent. The purchase contract between Juliette and the customer is concluded with the dispatch of the order confirmation.
3.2 Prices
All prices quoted by Juliette include the statutory value added tax, unless otherwise stated. Any shipping costs are charged additionally and are to be paid by the customer. Shipping costs are shown separately in the order process.
3.3 Baking courses
Once you have purchased the baking course online, the Juliette team will contact you to arrange a date for your participation and thus confirm your presence in the course.
If the course cannot take place (cancellation on the part of Juliette) or the participant is unable to attend, an alternative date will be found within 12 months of the purchase date.
To make the payment process as easy as possible for you, we offer a variety of payment methods.
You can also conveniently pay by credit card. We accept Visa & MasterCard.
With TWINT you can pay quickly, easily, conveniently and cashlessly with us. You can either connect the TWINT app directly to your account or you can deposit a credit card or load credit onto the app to pay easily with your smartphone.
Cash payment is possible only upon pickup.
Payment by Swiss Lunch-Check is only possible in the stores “Juliette – pain d’amour”.
The voucher must be redeemed at once. A cash payment, a retroactive credit against purchases already made or the reduction of the voucher value due to a purchase of smaller amount is not possible.
5.1 Orders will only be delivered after full payment has been received and if the goods are available. If it turns out after the conclusion of the contract that the ordered goods cannot be delivered or cannot be delivered in full for any reason, Juliette is entitled to withdraw from the entire purchase contract or from a part of the contract. If the customer’s payment has already been received by Juliette, the payment will be refunded to the customer. If no payment has been made yet, the customer will be released from the obligation to pay. Juliette is not obligated to make a replacement delivery in the event of a contract cancellation.
5.2 Juliette delivers only in Switzerland. In principle, delivery is made by mail or courier to the delivery address specified by the customer in the order. If necessary, Juliette can deliver in partial quantities. If a product is not suitable for shipping, the customer must pick up the goods at Juliette’s stores within the opening hours (see www.juliette-boulangerie.ch). Juliette shall not be liable for any damage to the customer, if the delivery cannot be delivered due to reasons caused by the customer (e.g. undeliverability, refusal of acceptance, etc.) or should be deposited in house entrances or storage boxes according to the customer’s instructions.
5.3 Delivery dates or delivery periods stated by Juliette are not binding and can be unilaterally changed by Juliette at any time. Juliette shall not be liable for any damage caused by delay in delivery. The following guidelines apply: Available standard products are always shipped the day after the order is received (for orders placed before 10 a.m.) and delivered in the time window specified by the customer. For all other products (made-to-order, custom-made), delivery will be made within a time period discussed with the customer at the time of the special order. Further remedies are expressly excluded.

6.2 Transport damages are to be reported to the respective transport company that has carried out the delivery. At the same time, the defect must be reported to Juliette within 48 hours at the latest. Juliette shall not be liable for transport damages.
6.3 Juliette shall endeavor to deliver goods in perfect quality. Juliette warrants that the goods purchased by the customer are free of defects and functional during the statutory warranty period. It is at Juliette’s discretion to provide the warranty by equivalent replacement, refund or reduction of the purchase price. Further claims, especially claims for damages, are excluded.
In the case of foodstuffs, the warranty period ends in any case with the expiry of the expiration date printed on or communicated by Juliette.

If the elimination of the defect is not solved by the replacement delivery, a reduction of the purchase price can be agreed upon or the contract will be cancelled by mutual agreement. In the case of delivery of perishable goods such as cakes, pastries, etc., the warranty claims expire after the expiration of the printed expiration date.
Juliette excludes any liability for direct and/or indirect damages, regardless of their legal basis, caused by Juliette and/or its auxiliary persons and vicarious agents, if any.
